This survey is part of a research project conducted by the Institute of Global Health of the University of Geneva and the Centre Virchow-Villermé for Public Health Paris-Berlin. The aim of this research project is to describe the current state of the nutrition education and the global environmental change education in medical curricula and in master degree programs of public or global or international health, and to formulate recommendations regarding this topic.
This survey is the first of the project and is dedicated to mapping the existing education in public health master degree program for the school year 2016-2017. The survey targets any general master degree program in public, global or international health. More specialized master programs are not considered. The survey should be completed once for each master degree program of public / global / international health. If your institution offers more than one, please fill out this survey as many times as the number of programs.
The survey includes one part on nutrition education, and one part on global environmental change and health education. They can be completed by two different persons.
We acknowledge that the provided set of questions will not cover all master program designs. Therefore, please answer the questions to the best of your ability, and do not hesitate to make comments.
The survey should be completed before April 30th 2017.
The results will be fully accessible. The collected data will only be used for research purposes, and will remain strictly anonymous. We invite respondents to provide their email address to follow up on this survey. We will not link any personal data to answers for any other purposes, and the contact information will only be known to the research team (Rébecca Grojsman, Dr. Anneliese Depoux, Dr. Stefanie Schütte and Prof. Antoine Flahault). It will not be transferred to a third party at any time.
After this first survey, you'll be invited to participate in a Delphi consultation, comprising a minimum of two survey rounds. The aim of the Delphi consultation will be to establish a set of recommendations on public health students’ educational needs on nutrition and on global environmental change.
Thank you very much for your participation in this survey. For any questions or problems encountered, please contact Rébecca Grojsman (email@example.com).
